Reusable Bag Campaigns?Hi Jennifer The Lincoln Envirotown Trust delivered reusable bags to every household in our small town, with a message about reducing waste inside, it was promoted in the local supermarket with prizes for people bringing reusable bags. A pic of the bag should be on our web site (below)
best wishes

Re: Increasing curbside recycling rates

Hi Kate
We have a "zerowaste street challenge" in Lincoln, New Zealand which encourages streets to compete one week a year. We have run it twice, 2nd one just finished. It is mostly consciousness raising and promoting reducing waste as well as recycling.

Re: Sustainable homes projects - any experience?

Hi Jacob
The Lincoln Envirotown Trust and one of our aims is the same as yours!! Look at our web site for info about what we are doing. (www.lincolnenvirotown.org.nz) We are starting to work with Selwyn District Council, Landcare research, Lincoln University and local developers on a number of sustainability issues. We are working on getting out a leaflet for people, especially those who are building. We are hoping to get a sustainable show home built soon.
best wishes
Sue
