Re: Paper Reduction and Recycling Techniques

Hi Melissa,
In our little office, we just set up our printer twice in our networked computers as both double-sided and single-sided, and have selected double-sided as the default. So when we hit 'print' in a hurry, it automatically prints double-sided and saves paper, but if we want single-sided we have to manually select the alternative printer option. Very simple, but effective.

Hi Sarah,
Next Tuesday 6 October we are running a one day conference in Warragul, Victoria on "Food, Farming & Health", exploring the links between farming and food systems. We have some excellent speakers lined up and will have workshops to examine the way we grow, distribute and share healthy food. It is a great opportunity to get into grassroots networking and strengthen the links between farmers, food processors and health professionals. This is at a much broader level than your question, but provides context about sustainable production and distribution of healthy foods. Andrew Campbell will be speaking, he has just completed a couple of informative reports on food systems in Australia for the ACF. There are more details of our conference program and workshops on www.aginc.wordpress.com . You might also be interested in our Gippsland-wide Future Food & Fibre project where we developed a range of case studies exploring sustainable agriculture - the case studies, newsletters and reports can be found on our website www.wgcma.vic.gov.au
