Sustainability Education at Ohio Conference
2011-05-18 17:17:49 UTC
I wanted to let you know of an exciting educational opportunity being organized by the National Environmental Health Association (NEHA)...
The NEHA Annual Educational Conference (AEC) & Exhibition is the nation's premier education, training, and advancement event for environmental health professionals (EHPs). NEHA invites you to the AEC to join in the discussion and share your own sustainability knowledge with EHPs. At this year's AEC, 16 hours of educational sessions will range across a broad area of theory and practice, from the three pillars (social, economic, and environmental) of sustainability, to the measurable economic returns that a sustainability program can deliver. Online Survey: Local Government Sustainability Programs
2010-07-09 18:08:00 UTC
I posted this earlier, but thought that it might be easier to include an online survey link to encourage input. The link to the online survey is:
http://www.zoomerang.com/Survey/WEB229FFQJPRB2. Thank you in advance for providing your input.
Here's an explanation behind my survey:
I work for the National Environmental Health Association (NEHA), a professional organization that provides continuing education, credentialing, and advocacy for environmental public health professionals. I'm currently working on a research project regarding local government sustainability programs. I'm interested in learning about the different types of programs and initiatives supported, collaborations involved, current trends and hot issues, and frustrations. This feedback will provide NEHA with a better understanding of the sustainability field and how environmental public health fits into it. Your input will also help NEHA determine future programs and endeavors that can provide needed support and training for sustainability and environmental public health professionals.
If you would be interested in sharing your perspectives with me, please click on the survey link and complete the onine survey.
Regards,
Kristen
