I deliver professional development on social marketing, other behavior change approaches, and program evaluation to outreach and education professionals.
My research program includes formative audience research to inform programs effecting outdoor water conservation and water quality protection behaviors with a focus on the residential sector. Methods are primarily quantitative, and I conduct an annual statewide survey as well as an annual national survey examining practices and perceptions of residential landscape best practices. Expertise includes audience segmentation, framing research, and program evaluation.
