Position Summary:
The Community Outreach Specialist is part of a locally-based team that uses grassroots organizing and community-based social marketing methodologies to develop and maintain partnerships with the community, including design and execution of marketing and outreach campaigns. We are looking for candidates who are deeply rooted in the San Carlos/Redwood City community. Proficiency in Spanish is a plus.

The Community Outreach Specialist will carefully track and document initiative progress through data collection, data entry, data quality control, and data analysis.
Responsibilities:
Community Outreach: acquire and engage program participants; create, plan and implement campaigns; research, organize, and attend local tabling events; research, engage, and partner with local community organizations; attend relevant partner meetings; educate citizens on energy efficiency; plan local energy efficiency workshops and events; organize and participate in neighborhood canvassing and phone banks; build trust-based stakeholder relationships.

Position Summary: The Energy Liaison and Data Manager will work closely with project administrators, energy contractors, and other stakeholders to:
1) Facilitate partnerships and communication with energy contractors on the Community Initiative offerings, sales techniques, and data tracking; and
2) Manage the data collection, data transfers, management, and reporting work related to the Community Initiative.
Based on the needs of the project, the Energy Liaison and Data Manager will specifically:
Identify and coordinate with home upgrade and home energy contractors to solicit and secure partnership agreements, as well as facilitate peer sharing and accountability meetings;
Coordinate with the client to create co-branded marketing templates for use by energy contractor partners;
Work with implementation partners to develop data collection processes, proactively address data management issues, ensure data quality and integrity, and coordinate data transfers;
Develop and manage customized reports and dashboards to monitor data integrity and program performance; and
Assist administrators in implementing a continuous test, learn, adapt approach to every project.
Qualifications: The successful candidate must have strong project management skills, be able to manage complex projects with many moving pieces, and oversee task completion, including figuring out processes and moving projects from vision to implementation. A large part of the work will be data analysis (both within and outside Salesforce.com), data modeling (e.g., program cost-effectiveness, business case, energy savings spreadsheet modeling, etc.), and data reporting of program performance. The successful candidate must have strong communication and interpersonal skills, project coordination experience, and the ability to work well with all levels of internal management, staff, and outside clients, and vendors. The job also requires an individual who is flexible and creative, working both independently and alongside the client and team for direction.
Minimum Qualifications:
Three plus (3+) years of applicable experience

Conduct Behavior-Based Energy Assessments for participating large companies in San Francisco and San Jose
o Work with Step Up and Power Down project team and client to set up and prepare half-day and full-day energy assessments
o Conduct the on-site assessment of energy use practices (how occupants and operators use technology)
o Conduct interviews with key company personnel and focus groups
o Review assessment data from each building participant, analyze data, and summarize findings
o Work with PG&E and consultant team engineers to determine potential energy savings impact of recommendations
o Schedule and conduct follow up meetings to share assessment results
Contribute to and support the overall strategy for future use of Behavior-based Energy Assessments by other entities and for additional business sectors (hospitality, retail, technology)
o Collaborate on the development of assessment method and approach to documentation and reporting of findings

Minimum Qualifications:
