I function under a dual role in this position, with a lot of my time spent looking after the kerb side collection for the New Plymouth District where I liaise with our residents and the contractor to ensure a seamless provision of waste collection services. I am also involved with planning and delivering behaviour change and community engagement programmes focusing on recycling contamination and waste minimisation. Finally I help community event organisers to plan zero waste events.
