I manage the waste minimisation team at Wellington City Council including the Tip Shop and Recycle Centre, which is a resource recovery centre, and a small team who deliver education for schools, projects, and campaigns and other awareness raising activities to engage residents in our recycling services and other ways to reduce waste to landfill. We are embarking on a huge zero waste programme which will overhaul our services and infrastructure, and I am the project manager for the behaviour change element of the programme.
