30 year career in commercial refrigeration, HVAC and energy conservation industry, mainly servicing retailers and supermarkets. Entrepreneur, philanthropist, community organizer & volunteer - took two years off (2011-2013) in mid-career to focus on local volunteer work. Joined 11 different non-profit boards and committees but realized that no matter how much I gave, it would never be enough so went back to work. Now use business platform to help network for profit and non-profit organizations together where makes sense. Still do a lot of environmental volunteer work - found my passion is cleaning water ways. Groups I work with pick up almost 100 tons (200,000) lbs of trash out of waterways each year (makes me mad but its really sad and disgusting)
