I believe in a Pennsylvania for us all: one where our working families don’t have to live paycheck-to-paycheck and your health and wellbeing are more important than corporate interests. I have represented the 21st Legislative District in the Pennsylvania House since 2019. In the 2021-2022 session, I am a member of the House Labor & Industry, Finance, Transportation, and Urban Affairs committees. She is also the co-founder and co-chair of the Welcoming PA Caucus, an appointed member of Pennsylvania's Climate Change Advisory Board, and the board vice president of the Allegheny County Housing Authority.
Since my time in office, I have collaborated with community organizations on environmental justice issues. My legislative focus since joining the General Assembly has been on enhancing waste regulations in the oil and gas industry, strengthening the public health protection for frontline communities and workers, and providing for a just economic transition to those impacted by our movement away from fossil fuels.
