With an extensive background in communications and journalism, as well as local government, I recently took on the position of education and outreach for the Pend Oreille County Noxious Weed Board and the Pend Oreille Conservation District. My work includes reaching out to the community to ensure land owners know about and understand the impacts of noxious weeds and the programs available through the weed board. With the Conservation District, I am working with the Voluntary Stewardship Program in much the same manner.
