Keri is a Senior Research Fellow on the 'Living Lightly Locally: Smarter and Stronger through Citizen Science' project at the University of South Australia (UniSA). Before re-joining UniSA she founded Dream Awake: Research Education and Design (DARED), a regenerative research and education consultancy dedicated to inspiring people to create change for a better world. DARED was established in 2018, after Keri completed her work as Head of Program for the first full degree Permaculture Program at CQUniversity from 2015-2018. Prior to this she lectured in Social and Community Planning and coordinated Sustainable Development: A Global Perspective at UniSA. She holds a doctorate in Anthropology/Social Inquiry from the University of Adelaide (2008).
