I work closely with 21 municipalities to provide technical assistance to improve and develop their waste reduction, recycling and composting programs. Anoka County provides 1.5 million in funding to maintain and improve their programs. Most, if not all, of the programs, will not be successful it we can't get residents to change their behaviors and utilize the programs developed. Reducing contamination and providing clear instructions is key to our success.
