I am a Geography Graduate student who is interested in using GIS and social media as tools for human-wildlife conflict mitigation and disseminating information to prevent and address human-wildlife conflicts, and target bear manager resources and information to conflict hot spots.
I am also the program biologist for Wind River Bear Institute, using Karelian Bear Dog Wildlife K-9s to proactively prevent and mitigate human-bear conflicts to keep people safe living with bears in wildland-urban interfaces.
