I am the Outreach Sustainability Coordinator with the District of Squamish, and my work is largely public facing. My focus areas are waste diversion and active transportation, though most of my projects and efforts target waste diversion. Current key projects and priorities include single-use items, construction and demolition waste, and reducing contamination in our recycling programs. I am convinced that societal change comes from fostering behavioral change through education and I am excited to adopt more applicable skills and obtain more knowledge and awareness.
