Blue Ridge PRISM is a nonprofit organization that focuses on reducing the impact of invasive plants on the ecosystem in Virginia so that native plants and wildlife can thrive. My work includes crafting and executing public relations and social media strategy as well as print and online communications. Other aspects of my job include fostering relationships with conservation partners and volunteers, community outreach, and fundraising. I am also a writer who has been published in several literary journals and once worked as a senior analyst for Virginia's watchdog agency.
