I aim to achieve zero waste in the City of Sunnyvale. I (thankfully) share this gargantuan challenge with a talented team. My focus is both on our construction and demolition sector and the much smaller in scope, but arguably more challenging, City employee engagement. While both programs necessitate behavior change, I find the latter particularly formidable as I navigate entrenched City systems and varied stakeholders, from purchasing officers to janitors and many more in between.
