My work involves researching food waste in New Jersey, drafting the rules and regulations to implement NJ's Food Waste Recycling and Food Waste-to-Energy Production Law, and providing guidance to the regulated community. I also work on implementing strategies to help NJ achieve its goal to reduce food waste by 50% by the year 2030, which includes education and outreach.
