A Masters of Environment Graduate majoring in Climate Change Adaptation now working in Waste Education and Behavioural change at a local council in NSW. I have worked in the education sector for the last 10 years however have recently refined my work to focus primarily on waste reduction. My focus area is primarily on educating the community on reducing food waste entering landfills and single use plastics entering our local waterways and oceans. I am hopeful that I can come away from this course obtaining a greater understanding and skill set around changing people's views, beliefs and behaviours around waste, as we are running out of time!
