I volunteer as project coordinator of the Dugong Diaries with the Bribie Island Enviromental Protection Association (BIEPA). We have one citizen science project under way collecting community oberservations of Dugongs in the Pumicestone Passage and we are currently establishing a seagrass monitoring project.
I also work alongside Wildlife Scientist, Jayda Bruce and her conservation scent detection dog to develop an eradication plan of feral cats on Bribie Island.
Much of my time is spent actively engaging, entertaining and informing community members about conservation projects within their community.
