I have backgrounds in environmental education, sustainability outreach, conservation biology, science writing, and narrative and climate futures. I work in soil and water conservation. At HCCD, I create marketing and outreach materials, coordinate public events and workshops, and run media campaigns to prompt the public to do everything from soil testing to rainwater collection. I co-lead the Regional Storm Water Collaborative's Save Local Waters. I'm also personally interested in food (urban agriculture & permaculture), community resilience and culture, and deep adaption as they all relate to our future living in a warmed and warming world.
