Bill is a retired AT&T Information Technology Director who spent many years working and living abroad. After his retirement, Bill returned to his home in the Miami Valley and became interested in Zoning and Long-Range Land Use Planning. He was appointed to the Sugarcreek Township Board of Zoning Commission in 2003 and served in various capacities on that Board, including Chairman, until 2016.
He is an Ohio Certified Volunteer Naturalist and has long been involved in Nature Education for children. Bill has spent a large part of his time trying to connect children to Nature. He has helped develop and continues to lead programs in our state and local parks and also mentors future environmental leaders.
Bill has accepted many awards for his work and community service over the years including, in 2015, Individual of the Year Award from the Greater Dayton Partners for the Environment.
