Recreational Boating Safety Specialist; passionate about water safety/access and accessible, community driven programs. Working to standardize water competency language throughout state and support community initiatives that will save lives. Programming/engagement work includes: mobile statewide water competency/boating safety program to serve 39 counties, maintain and grow life jacket loaner stand system (320 and growing), supporting and growing the Washington State Drowning Prevention Network to become truly statewide, and mini grants to support community based efforts in boating education.
