THANKYOU Joey and Julie!
As we have seen in our residential waste strategy, infrastructure is important, as well as drilling down to identify particular materials and their source. -
Moving from residential waste education to commercial and business waste education
2026-02-03 01:59:08 UTC
THIS. SEEMS. HUGE!
Our data suggests it is commercial business waste is that is making up the majority to landfill in our regional Australia facility. This poses the challenge of shifting our education programs away from residential based programs to businesses.
How has this worked for others? Where can I go to learn more about this new audience and the barriers and benefits of waste diversion for them, aside from the necessary consultation? What else is a first step other than analysing data around waste type and contributors? -

Evaluating Facility Tours
2025-09-10 05:13:58 UTC
We have been running tours of a waste management facility for over 10 years. Demand is as high as ever from school groups and community groups. How can we evaluate the tours to understand their impact on sustainable behaviour in our community? What should we look at when we are thinking about how the impact of the tours can be amplified? -

Celebrating Ten Years of Waste Sorting in the Community
2025-05-04 23:46:04 UTC
It is ten years since we gave our community (across three local government areas) three household waste bins - landfill, mixed recycling, organics. How can we best "celebrate" this milestone?
Can you please share any relevant resources which will help us celebrate in a meaningful way, ensuring the community remain committed (we have a slight increase in contamination rates recently) and enjoy the celebration.
