My work includes coordinating the countywide Household Hazardous Waste program and recycling initiatives throughout the county. I work closely with local governments, township residents, and other county staff to coordinate all efforts for a seamless program. I am currently serving as our county DPA for the Materials Managment Planning process for the State of Michigan. All counties are required to update their Solid Waste Plans to a Materials Management plan. This will be a multi-year process with much stakeholder involvement.
