My work centers on protecting local waterways by detecting, eliminating, and mitigating sources of pollution before they reach our stormwater system, streams, lakes, and rivers.
While much of my job involves environmental compliance, inspections, and water quality protection, I am especially passionate about the human side of environmental stewardship. I lead the City's behavior change campaign efforts and help design programs that encourage residents and businesses to take meaningful action for clean water. From community science events and stewardship projects to environmental education and public outreach, I enjoy creating opportunities for people to connect with nature and discover how their everyday choices can make a difference.
Outside of work, I enjoy gardening, drinking good coffee, playing games with family and friends, and spending time with my two cats, Willow and Ash. Some of my favorite moments are the simple ones: sharing laughter around a game table, watching something grow in the garden, or enjoying a quiet morning with a cup of coffee and a cat nearby.
