Hi -
I was wondering if anyone can point me in the direction of environmental websites that have been successful in encouraging behaviour change. I would also be interested in learning how owners of these sites measure changes in behaviour.
Thanks very much,

I can't answer the second part of the question, but these sites may be of some interest/use? I've tended to find that effective resources which can be used for behaviour change around environmental issues don't always have an obvious 'environmental' focus.

Maurice,
Have a look at the recycling, organics, and HHW portion of this web page. http://www.maplestreetapartments.com The webpage in concert with other apartment complex management interventions have resulting in weekly recyclables capture rates in excess of 75 percent. The graphics and other info on the web pages have been instrumental in a near zero contamination rate in a hyper source-separated circumstance. The effectivenss has been measured by weekly 100 percent sampling of an aggregate of total household discards across four eight week-sampling periods: two in the early spring months and two in the fall months. The details of the project will be written up shortly and submitted for peer review.
Best Regards,
Stephan
