Our city is trying to balance social equity into the mix of environmental and economic initiatives. Were looking for examples of policy filters to trigger a closer look at social impacts of those other initiatives. Does anyone know of a review system like NEPA that reviews social impacts (instead of environmental or economic)?

I don't have a specific review system that I can recommend to you, however I would certainly suggest that you contact the new economics foundation in the UK. They have been conducting a huge amount of research into social & economic indicators and looking at new ways of measuring that take into account things like the environment, happiness & strength of the local community. nef do an amazing amount of work & I'm sure that everyone on this list would be interested in what they do www.neweconomics.org
