I'm just wondering if anyone on this list has any experience with the US EPA's Green Power initiative...
Thanks!

"Across America, consumers increasingly have a choice when they buy electricity. With that choice comes the ability to buy green power. Green power is an environmentally friendly electricity product that is generated from renewable energy sources. Buying green power is easy, and it offers a number of environmental and economic benefits over conventional electricity. EPAs Green Power Partnership provides assistance and recognition to organizations that demonstrate environmental leadership by choosing green power. This Web site will help you make a better choice by providing you with everything you need to know about green power and how to purchase it."

American University became an EPA Green Power Partner a few years ago when we first purchased wind RECs, and they now have improved their higher ed program by comparing schools within their athletic conferences so that hopefully there will be a little more competitive spirit amongst schools when it comes to purchasing renewables. It is helpful to have your name on their website on the PR side, and I think otherwise it is up to you to tap into their resources to help publicize your green power purchase.
