Hi there,
In my small office (30ish staff) we're starting to look at steps we can take to increase awareness about energy efficiency/ sustainability and to promote behaviour change. Our first pilot project is to reduce the garbage we produce from snacks & lunches. Located in a happening commercial area, we have a plethora of take-out options, and most folk choose to purchase rather than bring lunch from home. We've had great success with local businesses agreeing to allow us to bring reusable containers, which we label with tare weight and portion sizes. Can anyone point me in the direction of studies/ projects/ prompts/ etc. for this subject?
Cheers,

Hi Meg,
I know it will be different in the workplace (eg. not needing to write to parents!), but here is what schools in Victoria, Australia are doing: www.education.vic.gov.au/about/events/rubbishfree/about.htm - Rubbish Free Lunch Challenge www.education.vic.gov.au/about/events/rubbishfree/winners.htm I am tickled by this idea of 'Nude Food'! ...successful implementation of a 'Nude Food' policy where food cannot go outside if it has a wrapper. Check out this site too: www.wastefreelunches.org
