I am a member of a new organization (Solar City, Gainesville) and we are putting an educational project together that would take a used school bus (bio-diesel) to travel our area and teach schools, churches, etc., about renewable energy and sustainability. I would appreciate information from anyone else who has done a project such as this. The bus will have photovoltaic panels, solar hot water, energy star appliances, examples of insulation, etc.,
Thank you,

Arunas,
you may want to check out the links below - the first one is to the web page/blog of someone who is doing something very similar to what you're envisioning, only he's using an RV. The second link is an article from the Portland (OR) Tribune about him (Ty Adams is his name.) http://www.biotrekker.com./ http://www.portlandtribune.com/sustainable/story.php?story_id=117107409866304100
Good Luck,

Hi Arunas
You could check out the Wild Waste Show bus managed by the Northmoor Trust here in Oxfordshire England. I t promotes waste reduction primarily to schools and community groups. I like the idea of using photovoltaic panels on board your bus. http://www.northmoortrust.co.uk/home/learning/education/wild_waste_show
