Good examples can be of any topic, as our goal is to find quantitative papers that are interesting to read, yet more importantly, is that we are looking for materials to deconstruct through critical discourse analysis. I am a TA in a research methods class at St. Thomas University, which is trying to delve into the behind-the-scenes. We're looking at the social construction of research papers, not simply providing more customary terminology and design, but also looking at the divergences, questioning the design, and taking a closer look at the material itself. Another interest of ours, is to create a course outline and to acquire an extensive reading library for a proposed Environmental Sociology course. I'm hoping that subscribers may be able to provide some of their own content as well as suggest resources for materials they find most alluring, interesting or even controversial. These materials will be considered for use in this above named course. We encourage any subscriber to send in no more than 5 articles, combined of their own literature, and those favorites of their choice. Entries can be sent to: [email protected]  Course name is tentative, as there has been much discussion around the terminology. Some prefer the use of Ecology instead, and others like Environmentalism or Environmental Issues. The name that becomes the definitive choice, will best reflect the corpus of materials provided and chosen for course content.

We appreciate your interest! Any comments or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
