I have just posted a new blog on The Huffington Post. It discusses China's product quality crisis from the perspective of whether short term or long term thinking will solve the problem. And it details how a similar quality problem in the 1970's led to America discovering the work of Dr. W. Edwards Deming. It concludes with a video I found on YouTube of a 1991 BBC documentary about Dr. Deming's work. Don Petersen (former CEO of The Ford Motor Company) is one of the people who appears in this documentary, along with Dr. Deming himself. I hope you enjoy reading it.
