Hi All,
I am a PhD student in Sustainability Engineering, University of Auckland, New Zealand. I'd like to carry out a quick assessment within my case company to measure awareness of/commitment to sustainability issues and the level of company uptake (both technical and managerial). Can anyone suggest any tool, method, checklist etc. Thanks a lot in advance.
Kind regards,

Doppelt's book is a great resource. Another excellent resource is "The Business Guide to Sustainability - Practical Strategies and Tools for Organizations" by Darcy Hitchcock and Marsha Willard. In the book they describe a self assessment tool they've developed called SCORE (Sustainability Competency & Opportunity Rating and Evaluation). Information about SCORE is also available on their web site - AXIS Performance Advisors - http://www.pacifier.com/~axis/

There are some questionnaire suggestions about assessing organisations, and the book is an excellent guide overall.
