Hello listserv members,
I'm looking for academic and nonacademic social marketing literature related to promotion of efficient water use.
Primary target audience: Farmers Secondary target audience: Other rural community residents, urban community residents
I have already browsed a variety of social marketing websites, but I am sure I have missed a few studies. 'Duplication' of information will not harm my attempt to learn more about 'efficient' water use :) Please guide.
Thanks in advance,

Hi Sameer -
This is not exactly social marketing literature, but it is of great interest to farmers and it can significantly improve farmland and profits while sequestering large quantities of CO2 from the atmosphere. It is low-tech, provides planet-positive means of raising animals for food, restores soils and hydrological cycles, and doesn't require a lot of money to start up:
Carbon Farmers of America: http://www.carbonfarmersofamerica.org
Holistic Management International: http://www.holisticmanagement.org
Cheers!
