Hello.

Please see the below message from a colleague of mine regarding a campaign to encourage the acceptance of breastfeeding in restaurants. Please send any responses directly to her. Thanks. A campaign called Put Breastfeeding on the Menu, aims to encourage and support restaurants in becoming more baby and breastfeeding friendly. We will be providing them with a package and are asking them to display a window decal stating that they are baby-friendly. We are considering distributing the restaurant packages by mail and in person (in either case, we would call them first to invite them to participate and then follow-up with them by phone later to see if they had taken any steps). I was wondering if the litserv members could share any experiences and knowledge about possible barriers restaurants may face in becoming baby friendly, if there have been other similar campaigns, and their thoughts on the delivery method.

Thanks,
Fauzia
