Hello,
I am looking for research dealing with the promotion of neighborhood scale urban agriculture in cities of the developed world. Specifically I am trying to pinpoint the factors that are the most efficacious in stimulating individual food growing on a small scale. Thanks in advance.
Cheers

Also there are thousands of pages of information at www.cityfarmer.org A fair whack to sift through, but i'm sure that there will be some useful pages in there.

Hi Robb,
Last year, Holland Barrs Planning Group produced an excellent urban agriculture strategy for the City of Vancouver's Southeast False Creek Sustainability District (nee 2010 Olympic Village). The document covers some of what you seek. Here's the download page for the PDF: http://www.hollandbarrs.com/Projects/projects_food_urb%20arg% 20oppertunities.html

Hi Robb,
A couple of my academic colleagues, Paula Sobie and Martin Scaia, runs an urban agriculture business called City Harvest (http://www.cityharvest.ca/) in Victoria, BC which relies on SPINFarming methodology. You could start from there. Hope that helps.
Cheers,
Cathy
