I am a postgrad research student currently looking at relationship between green buildings and sustainable behaviours. I would appreciate if someone can share his/her thoughs on some really basic questions as below?
1) What is a sustainable behaviour? How do you define it?
2) How do you measure a sustainable behaviour? Do we have a comoprehensive list of sustainable behaviours?
3) Can you rate a sustainable behaviour ie. Green start rating for geen buildings?

We have several green buildings here on the University of Utah campus. At this time, we have no start up procedure for the building inhabitants. In fact, we have had several incidents that indicate the necessity for such an orientation process. From the tenants not knowing how to access or where the bike lock-up is, to the explanation of why the window blinds automatically close at certain times, these issues need to be explained. We are discussing the format, and who should prepare such a document. This would be an excellent opportunity to get the tenants started on sustainable behaviors.
