Commissioning Social Marketing

I am scoping out a project looking at the process of commissioning social marketing - either scoping, interventions or evaluation. I would be interested in hearing stories from the field - i.e. good and bad anecdotes about the commissioning of social marketing work - from both the commissioned and the commissioning side.
