Hi Andrea
Metro Vancouver (a federation of 22 municipalities) and the British Columbia Pharmacy Association used the point-of-sale as the opportunity to educate residents about the medications return program. A 4X6 inch card at the cash register where prescriptions are paid for and a 3X4 inch post-it note affixed to prescription information that is provided to customers both prompted residents to return their unused medications, vitamins and herbal supplements to their pharmacy. The campaign provided the appropriate information when it was relevant to our target audience.
