I am searching for case studies or programs to promote sustainable behaviour in caravan parks, aimed specifically at campers and park managers.
Can anyone refer me to good examples that go beyond a brochure / poster that were successful in improving general sustainability within parks any examples that touch on waste, consumption, energy, water, pollution etc would be most appreciated.

Hi Juliana,
Our Council is launching a 'Happy Campers' program in the near future, where we have partnered with the park managers to help them pursue the Silver Gumnut Award (Gumnut Awards is a system based on what environmental actions are taken after a EMP has been formed with them). We are installing solar hotwater systems/ water tanks at some of the parks and running educational activities with visitors in the holidays. I can put you in contact with the officer that is currently involved in this program if you like?
