I am working towards developing a social marketing strategy for turtle species at risk in Ontario. I am however struggling with my probability and impact analysis related to my chosen behaviours. For some turtle species the impact of a behaviour may be much more substantial than for another species and I am unsure how I address this. If I consider all species behaviours, habitat conservation and traffic mortality seem most relevant, but at the species level collection by pet stores can be a more substantial issue than traffic mortality. I imagine this challenge would also be the same for people looking at an issue like energy use as some behavious save many types of energy, each in a small amount, while other behaviours have a big impact but only for one energy type. Any input would be most helpful and appreciated.
