Communications, Research and Marketing Coordinator

Lura Consulting is a national consulting firm specializing in community engagement, sustainability planning and community-based social marketing. Our clients include government agencies at all levels - municipal, provincial and federal - and our projects span diverse topic areas including environmental protection and enhancement, community planning, economic development and transportation planning.

We are looking to fill a Communications, Research and Marketing Coordinator position in our Toronto office.

In particular, this position will support our growing community-based social marketing practice, as well as our marketing and business development activities.

Our ideal candidate will have a minimum of two years of experience in a consulting environment, along with the following attributes:

* Strong organizational and work planning skills;
* Experience in proposal preparation and coordination;
* Excellent research, written and oral communications skills;
* Experience with community-based social marketing, communications and public outreach strategies;
* Experience with quantitative (surveys) and qualitative research;
* Experience with the development of graphics and use of graphics design software;
* Working knowledge of French is an asset; and
* Access to vehicle and willingness to work during evening meetings.

Ideal candidates have a degree in communications, social research, marketing or related fields as well as relevant job experience in a consulting setting.
