Is anyone aware of a comprehensive evaluation of the effectiveness of road signage undertaken by qualified sociologists and/or psychologists? I am aware of several initiatives by ecologists but my interest is on programs that monitored the effectiveness of signage in influencing driver behaviour (and ideally that resulted in measurable reductions in wildlife vehicular collisions) undertaken by the former.
