I use Google PowerMeter, which used to have an energy usage comparison feature (I've heard) but it's been removed. Are there other online tools that gather and track residential energy usage, for comparison purposes by residential consumers? People have no yardstick by which to measure their monthly energy usage when their energy bill arrives, aside from comparison to their own past bills. How can they know how much they "should" be using, or how much less is really possible (because someone in a similar situation is already doing it)?

Thanks! I had looked at this site but followed a link into the middle of the site and got lost in oodles of data I didn't want.
