I am looking for information on any research done on barriers to household water conservation. I am specifically interested in work done with young adults (late teens/ early twenties)living in residences (post-secondary)- but interested in any research.

I would take a look at or contact people running the Y.O.U. program in Cleveland,OH, USA. They incorporate high school youth in rainbarrell building and installation. I know the city used to have policy blocking the disconnection of downspouts and they have been able to move beyond that barrier.
