The most frequent question that I am asked by workshop attendees is how can I learn more? I am pleased to announce that for the first time ever I will be offering advanced two-day community-based social marketing workshops in Vancouver (November 3rd & 4th) and Toronto (November 17 & 18) . To ensure a high level of learning and exchange of ideas, these workshops are restricted to individuals who have previously attended my introductory workshop.

This two-day advanced workshop provides an in-depth exploration of how community-based social marketing can be used to foster sustainable behaviour. The session will introduce leading-edge material on selecting behaviours, identifying barriers and benefits (including market segmentation), applying behaviour change tools (including some exciting new developments regarding the use of commitments, norms, and social diffusion), and piloting programs. Further, participants will also be coached in making community-based social marketing presentations to their agency or community and will receive PowerPoint and Keynote presentations for this purpose. Finally, each participant will receive a copy of the two books that I published earlier this year, "Fostering Sustainable Behavior: An Introduction to Community-Based Social Marketing 3rd Edition" & "Social Marketing to Protect the Environment: What Works."

Given the expressions of interest that I have received for this workshop, and the number of people that have already registered, I encourage you to register early to avoid disappointment.

Hope to see you in November.
