Fostering Habitat Action in an Age of Persuasion.
A workshop for the Conservation Crowd.

October 20th, Woodstock Ontario.

Shoot, Shovel and Shut-up:
The worrisome practice of killing a (usually rare) plant or animal and disposing of it without anyones knowledge.

Save, Steward and Seed:
Guiding actions for conservation-minded citizens.

Is it possible to steer those with a Shoot, Shovel and Shut-up mentality to foster habitat actions such as Saving and Stewarding wildlife and Seeding (enhancing and restoring) habitats? Are you interested in stewarding a smarter public to make better choices?

We'll explore social marketing pilot projects to foster good stewardship behavior covering Horticulture, Reptile persecution, Local food and CCC's own Biodiversity Awareness Trail. Discussion will focus on how we can build cohesive and effective communications across the zone for biodiversity and Species at Risk conservation. Come join in the conversation.
