Hi all,

I believe social marketing is intrinsically empowering for people. It gives people responsibility for themselves, which can then be taken out to the broader community and beyond. Many people have behaviour they wish they could change, being affected by these strategies can be a form of life coaching. Behaviour change strategies have a lot to offer, but that said, it is not the whole answer. I am very lucky to be working on a new program where we have an alliance of organisations delivering a water conservation program to Alice Springs residents where we are offering consultations, rebates for better designs and a change campaign for the community.
I am intersted in any studies regarding behaviour change strategies for water conservation. One of our aims is the development of 'Community Water Rules,' which would outlive our program and involve empowering community participation.
If anyone has any studies on a program like this, please share.
Thank you for the resources which were shared above.

Best,

Neylan
