The 2012 Behavior Change for a Sustainable World Conference, an international gathering on how basic principles of behavior change can help in the fight to preserve our environment, will be held at The Ohio State University in Columbus, Ohio, August 3-5. The conference will bring together environmental scientists, conservation activists, business people, government figures, and behavior analysts to share their expertise on how to get people to go green. Getting people to think green and say they care for the environment is nice, but its our actions that really matter. Invited addresses and panels, research and project posters, and interactive brainstorming sessions will give conference attendees a unique opportunity to interact with people with diverse backgrounds who are interested in working on one of the greatest challenges to face civilization since the last ice age. Details and registration information are at abainternational.org/events/susconf2012.
