My New Book, The Guide to Greening Cities

Im very excited to let you know about my new book, titled The Guide to Greening Cities, which is now available via the publisher (Island Press) http://www.islandpress.org/ip/books/book/islandpress/G/bo8870396.html and many other channels, including Amazon.com. I was honored to co-author The Guide with Sadhu Johnston, Deputy City Manager at the City of Vancouver (who was the Chief Environmental Officer for the City of Chicago years ago when I met him) and Steve Nicholas, who was the Chief Sustainability Officer for the City of Seattle and now is a Senior VP at Institute for Sustainable Communities. The book synthesizes our own experiences and reflections as long-time urban sustainability practitioners, as well as those of the dozens of other green city leaders across North America with whom we work on a regular basis.
